"Computer SuperCenter should be cloned. They are that good."

"They trasnferred my data onto my new hard drive and even assisted us with a network issue we had. Great job. Excellent employees."

"Excellent service as usual from Computer SuperCenter in Greenwich. Great store that costs a little more than others but is well worth it. Also the store is so neat!! There must be a neat freak in charge of that place because nothing is out of place."

"It’s rare, but great to see that some people still care about customer service. I came in with my Dell laptop, and your technician tried to fix it with all the traditional methods but to no avail. It was his perseverance (he had to stay late) an a lot of slick tools that finally got my laptop back in shape the same day!"

"I live in Greenwich and Palm Beach in the winter. People can’t believe it, but I flew home today for one reason only...because I don’t trust anybody but Computer SuperCenter and I need to buy a new computer. My son convinced me to buy a MAC, but I just don’t like it and want to go back to a SONY Windows machine.
I have had other people work on my computers before and they always mess everything up and I can’t use it. This will be the third time I have had Computer SuperCenter convert everything from an old machine to the new one. Everything looks exactly as I am used to, and everything works right, all in the same day. I am telling you, if you opened a Computer SuperCenter in Palm Beach you would be very successful. Nobody wants to deal with Best Buy or Circuit City."

There are at least 50 computer using people BCC'd on this e-mail. Each one could verify that I am not a spamcaster. I have been cyber enabled since 1991. I have recently experienced the worst case scenario of a person who is not in a recreational relationship but completely connected to their personal/business computer.
In this case, my 8 year old G4 Mac Tower (that Apple couldn't touch after I lugged it into the Westchester Mall this week because it was VINTAGE...) had a MAJOR mechanical Hard Drive wipeout. It was all about overload, age related breakdown and bad CPU parenting (shoulda archived, purged, etc.) My back ups were pathetic. You find that out when your HD fries. All I want you to know is that I spent over 35 hours on the phone, in Mac forums, in live conversations with many Mac "Genius" types and some private hours in tears over the loss of important emotional and professional data (pictures, portfolio, recordings, letters).
I learned all about Hard Drives, data recovery and COST. I almost went with CBL in Armonk... Basic situation: $1,000-$3,500 to retrieve HD data. Cost based on % of retrieval. Had they had the success of Computer SuperCenter in Greenwich, it would have been over $3,000. My experience with Computer SuperCenter was FANTASTIC from the first phone call to the final pickup of my G4 tower (2.5 days) with a new Hard Drive cloned and returned to EXACTLY where everything was before "old dixie died."
The cost was under $600, including the NEW HD. I was able to plug and play. I am committed to networking and sharing information. if you need any tech help or advice on purchases, networking, BACK UP, service or data recovery, for PC, Mac and all gadgets related...check these people out first. I found them last but will never go elsewhere again. Happy Computing to all.
A most happy and lucky, Janine. -Janine Mayhew
